LAX Transit Corridor

Project Summary

Client: Walsh-Shea Corridor Constructors
Scope: 8.5-mile light rail system, eight new stations, one-mile twin tunnel, 315-foot I-405 bridge

As the Technology Project Manager for this major Los Angeles transit expansion, I supported over 400 users across seven project offices and field sites. My responsibilities spanned the full scope of IT infrastructure planning and implementation, including network design, connectivity across trailers and IPMOs, and system maintenance for regional and remote locations.

I managed the full device lifecycle for desktops, laptops, iPads, and smartphones, while also overseeing SharePoint environments, internal applications, and the public-facing project website. My role extended beyond the Crenshaw corridor as I supported jobsite technology deployments across the broader West Coast region.

This role required a combination of strategic foresight and hands-on technical execution to ensure secure, stable, and high-performing systems from start to finish. My contributions played a critical role in keeping teams connected and productive, helping the project deliver one of LA Metro’s most ambitious rail lines on time and under control.
